We are seeking an experienced Residency Program Director to leadan ACGME-accredited residency or fellowship program at a Level I facility inPalm Springs, CA. The Director is responsible for program administration,ensuring full compliance with ACGME requirements, and supporting theprofessional growth and development of both faculty and trainees.
Compensation: $ 557k for 10 shifts per month
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with ACGME Common and specialty-specific requirements, including preparation for accreditation reviews and ADS reporting
- Oversee the residency curriculum, ensuring high-quality, competency-based clinical and didactic education
- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty to support excellence in teaching and role modeling
- Monitor trainee performance, provide evaluations, and support resident/fellow wellbeing
- Manage program operations, including budget oversight, documentation, and annual program evaluation
- Serve as the primary liaison between trainees, faculty, the GME office, and accrediting bodies
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in the relevant specialty or subspecialty
- Current, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) in the state of practice
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical and educational experience in an accredited residency or fellowship program
