Business Development Lead - Remote

**Hawthorne Gardening Company** is seeking an ambitious and results-oriented **Business Development Lead** to spearhead our expansion within the Lawn & Garden industry while simultaneously elevating our e-commerce presence and strategy. This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, deep industry knowledge, and operational execution. The ideal candidate will be a cross-functional leader, capable of developing high-level strategies, coordinating internal resources, and driving the successful execution of complex business objectives.**Internal Alignment**: Act as the primary internal coordinator, mobilizing and guiding cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Finance, and Supply Chain) to ensure alignment with business development and e-commerce objectives.**Industry Expertise**: 5+ years of proven business development or sales experience, with a significant focus on the Lawn & Garden industry is mandatory.**E-commerce Proficiency**: Experience developing and executing strategies on major e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, retailer sites) is required.**Communication**: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and written/verbal communication skills.**Travel**: Role is remote however travel will be required for key customer meetings **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.Our *Live Total Health* program provides you with options to align to your **personal needs**.
