Medical Director – Eating Disorders – Psychiatry
Location: Somerville, NJ, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital – Somerset.
Full‑time position providing psychiatric services within the continuum of services for the Eating Disorder program. Ideal for psychiatrists seeking a leadership role and passionate about caring for patients with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge‑eating disorder, and related comorbidities.
Competitive compensation: $315,000–$505,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health, life, disability, malpractice insurance; 401(k) retirement, paid time off and CME time.
Qualifications:
- Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Adult Psychiatry
- Licensed in New Jersey or eligible for NJ licensure
- Comfortable seeing patients with eating disorders
- Ideally experienced working in an inpatient setting
- High energy, adaptable, and capable of working on a team
