Overview

We are seeking a top performing Managing Director, Group Manager for our Emerging Middle Market Group, leading Regional Managers and their teams of Relationship Managers covering the Midwest region. The ideal candidate has proven success generating new clients, calling on companies generating $10MM - $50MM in revenue, established relationships with customers, COIs, and key stakeholders in these geographies.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall growth in market share within the area of their responsibility, leveraging their existing network of clients and drive direct new client acquisition.
  • Recruit, develop, and coach the team around managing critical emerging middle market relationships with the primary focus of gaining market share and driving top overall client satisfaction.
  • Ensure the required internal control standards, including adherence to audit, regulatory and compliance policies.
  • Develop and leverage strong relationships with the Portfolio Management and Treasury Product Services Teams, as well as other key product and support partners within the Commercial Bank across the various geographies.
  • Leverage the bank and delivering the integrated BMO OneClient focus across all lines of business including Wealth, Retail, Business Banking, and Diversified Industries Group.
  • Facilitate growth for the Bank through business development and management of key client relationships.
  • Maintain an outstanding and continuous record of significant revenue generation from sales and syndications.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Relationship Management, Account Management or Portfolio Management in a corporate or similar segmented banking environment with sales metrics is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred, CPA certification preferred; Business Administration, Finance and Accounting preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.
  • Seasoned expert with extensive industry knowledge.
  • Technical leader viewed as a thought leader for innovation.

Salary & Pay Type

Salary: $164,400.00 - $285,600.00

Pay Type: Salaried

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
