TheDirector of Ministry Engagement leads efforts to grow and strengthen a network of partnering churches across Northern Indiana. This role equips ministry coordinators to expand the ministry locally, oversees the Communications Specialist, and collaborates with the Leadership Team to advance fundraising and community engagement. Through relational and strategic leadership, this position builds partnerships that extend the reach and impact of New Mercies Ministries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, ministry, business, social work, or related field.
- Minimum offive years of leadership experience in nonprofit, ministry, or community-based settings.
- Demonstrated success infundraising, volunteer recruitment, and church engagement.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Passion for sharing Christ’s love and preserving families.
- Resident of thegreater Fort Wayne area with the ability to travel throughout Northern Indiana.
- Willing to work an occasional evening or Saturday and one Sunday per month.
- Able to complete all required background checks within two weeks of hire.
