
Account Manager, Retail Channel | Cosmetics

Join one of Asia’s fastest-growing beauty companies as they expand their retail presence in the United States. They are seeking a commercially driven Account Executive / Account Manager to launch offline retail in the US for the first time. This is a 0→1 channel expansion role where you’ll open new retail partners (specialty beauty/prestige e.g., Sephora and similar), lead launches, and build a repeatable playbook to scale.
What you’ll do:
Build a target list + pipeline; drive outreach, pitching, and new account wins
Prepare sell-in materials (brand story, hero SKUs, assortment, commercial logic) and support line review/JBP moments
Support negotiations on trade terms (margin, promo cadence, returns, payment terms)
Own launch readiness: forecasting, PO flow, inventory planning, and in-store execution support
Manage retailer onboarding mechanics: SKU/item setup, portal maintenance, pricing updates, and launch timelines
Track performance (sell‑in/sell‑through, hero SKUs/top doors where available) and drive actions to improve results
What you’ll bring:
2 to 6 years in sales/account management/BD within beauty/cosmetics/personal care/CPG (or adjacent)
Confident communicator with buyer‑facing experience; comfortable with negotiation and follow‑through
SF Bay Area or LA preferred; occasional travel
