The Copywriter plays a key role in crafting compelling, high-impact content across a variety of platforms, supporting both brand and business objectives. This role requires a strong conceptual thinker and versatile writer who can adapt tone, voice, and messaging to meet the unique needs of each brand and audience. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Copywriter collaborates to develop creative solutions that are not only engaging, but also aligned with the client’s goals, regulatory standards, and market positioning. Success in this role demands a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and consistently delivers high-quality work. The ideal candidate is flexible, curious, and passionate about storytelling, with the ability to quickly shift between formats, audiences, and brand voices.

NOTE: Only candidates in the TriState Area (NJ/NYC/Local PA) will be considered for this position.

EXPERIENCE:

4-year College degree and/or equivalent work experience required

2–4 years of professional writing experience, ideally within an agency, healthcare, or pharmaceutical communications environment

Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills

Experience with writing for the following is preferred but not required: Healthcare professionals (particularly in fields of oncology or rare disease)

Patients (direct-to-consumer communications)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Writes and edits engaging, relevant, and original copy across a variety of channels, ensuring alignment with brand voice, messaging strategy, and client objectives

Translates brand knowledge into actionable messaging for both digital (websites, banner ads, social media) and print (sales aids, convention panels) materials

Contributes strategically and creatively during brainstorming sessions, bringing forward medically sound and innovative content ideas

Conducts independent research across scientific literature, clinical publications, and payer materials to inform the development of accurate, compelling content

Helps build, maintain, and optimize reference libraries and internal knowledge tools for assigned brands or clients

Upholds high standards of writing quality, accuracy, and clarity to reinforce trust and credibility with both internal stakeholders and clients

Attends and actively participates in internal and client-facing meetings to align on project goals, messaging, and strategic direction

Maintains consistency in tone, voice, and style across all materials in accordance with brand guidelines and content strategy

Proactively engages copywriter supervisors, strategists, or account leads for feedback, alignment, and content optimization when needed
