The Role – What you’ll do as a Commercial Lines (P&C) Customer Service Representative
Preparing insurance documents; auto ID cards, Certificates of Insurance, Evidence of Insurance.
Fulfilling MVR requests and ordering E-Mods
Preparing renewal applications
Preparing applications
Emailing signed forms to carrier/underwriter
Monitoring receipt of policies
Prepare policies for delivery
Obtaining loss experience on all lines of coverage on all accounts
Initiating and following-up on policy changes with various carriers and check when complete
Reviewing and assisting with resolving audit disputes
Setting up new clients in client management system
Monitoring receipt of renewal policies
Preparing client presentations
Sending all documentation to scan, and maintaining files in client management system
Invoicing, including:
Updating billing screens
Obtaining finance agreement quotes
Setting up new applications and updating applications in client management system
Agent of Record Letters
Supports AM & AE – Provides updates once policy is bound
Obtaining online quotes for Flood Policies
Requirements
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with both clients and agency personnel; ability to listen, clarify and respond well to questions
Demonstrates initiative with a willingness to learn and develop professionally
1+ years of experience preferred
Illinois P&C License preferred or required after employment
