Duties of the Brand Manager Market Analysis Continually monitor and assess the market to understand:

Category sales performance

Competitive activity

Consumer trends

Product trends

Sales Analysis Work with Product Manager on monitoring brand performance by:

Reviewing sales reports; creating sales reports as needed

Analyzing sales trends and brand performance

Making recommendations for improvement

Product Innovation Support portfolio expansion by:

Continually brainstorming new product/packaging ideas

Developing written product concepts

Preparing new product briefs

Collaborating with cross-functional partners to assess feasibility and begin product development

Managing key Marketing deadlines and deliverables in the product development process

Tracking cost calculations to support margin targets

Preparing Creative briefs, including product copy direction

Support of Resource Partnerships Foster effective relationships with Marketing support through:

Participating in regular meetings

Ensuring clear communication

Identifying clear deliverables and providing necessary inputs for timely execution of projects

Brand Management Maintain the equity of the Men's division brands (Beard Guyz and VanderHagen) with on-going attention to:

A clearly identified target consumer

A differentiated brand positioning

Compelling brand messaging and assets

Competitive product portfolio

Any other duties as requested by management

Requirements

A minimum of 3-5 years consumer brand marketing experience,

Bachelor's Degree in business/marketing preferred.

Positive attitude with a strong love for everything beauty

Possess outstanding leadership skills

Strong research, analytical skills and the ability understand trends and challenges

Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

Budget management skills and proficiency

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs: PowerPoint, Excel, Word
