As

Senior Manager, Digital Content , you will lead the strategy, governance, and execution of best‑in‑class digital content across major retail and marketplace platforms, including Amazon, Walmart, Target, Ulta, and more. This role is pivotal in shaping Conair’s digital shelf presence, driving discoverability, and maximizing conversion through optimized content experiences.

You will manage a team of Digital Content Managers and collaborate cross‑functionally with eCommerce, Sales, Marketing, Creative, and IT to deliver scalable, high‑performing content strategies that align with business priorities and consumer behavior.

Key Responsibilities Content Strategy & Leadership

Develop and own the overarching digital content strategy across all retail platforms, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and eCommerce growth goals.

Lead and mentor a team of Digital Content Managers responsible for platform‑specific execution (e.g., Amazon, Walmart).

Establish governance frameworks, playbooks, and best practices for content creation, optimization, and syndication.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Partner with eCommerce, Sales, Marketing, and Creative teams to ensure content supports promotional strategies, brand storytelling, and compliance with retailer requirements.

Serve as the primary liaison for content initiatives with internal stakeholders and external agencies.

Content Operations & Workflow Optimization

Oversee end‑to‑end content operations, including item onboarding, syndication, version control, and continuous delivery across platforms.

Implement agile workflows and leverage automation tools to accelerate speed‑to‑market and reduce operational bottlenecks.

Drive adoption of AI‑powered solutions for copywriting, image optimization, and content scaling.

Performance & Analytics

Monitor and analyze content performance across platforms using tools such as Stackline, Amazon Brand Analytics, and Walmart Luminate.

Translate insights into actionable strategies that improve SEO, discoverability, engagement, and conversion, present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure content effectiveness and ROI.

Facilitate A/B testing strategy and iterate on content to improve engagement, findability, and conversion rates.

Governance & Quality Assurance

Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, legal requirements, and retailer specifications.

Conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy, consistency, and freshness of content across digital shelves.

Achieve and maintain best‑in‑class content health scores across major platforms (Amazon, Walmart, Target).

Reduce time‑to‑market for new product content within the first year.

Conversion Rate Lift:

Deliver measurable improvements in conversion rates through optimized PDPs and enhanced content.

Search Visibility:

Increase organic search rankings and discoverability for priority SKUs by quarter‑over‑quarter.

Workflow Efficiency:

Implement process improvements that reduce content production cycle time.

Team Development:

Build and retain a high‑performing team with clear career progression and engagement metrics.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.

8+ years of experience in digital content management, preferably within a CPG or retail environment.

Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving cross‑functional initiatives.

Deep understanding of eCommerce content best practices across platforms like Amazon, Walmart, Target, Ulta, and Wayfair.

Expertise in CMS, DAM, and content syndication tools (e.g., Salsify, Syndigo, Bynder).

Excellent resource management, project management, communication, organizational, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as Stackline, Profitero, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Power BI.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with agile marketing or content ops frameworks.

Familiarity with AI‑driven content optimization tools and emerging technologies.

Familiarity with content syndication platforms (e.g., Salsify, Syndigo) and Amazon Vendor Central/Seller Central, A+ Content, and image optimization tools.

Environmental Factors

Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.

Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.

This role requires Stamford, CT office on‑site presence Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere on Fridays.
