Company Cox Automotive – USAJob Family Group Vehicle OperationsJob Profile Account Operations Specialist II Management Level Individual Contributor Flexible Work Option No remote option; must work at a specified Cox location. Travel % No Work Shift Day. Compensation: Hourly base pay rate is $22.07–$33.13 per hour. The hourly base rate may vary based on factors such as location and candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation such as commission and/or incentive program.

Responsibilities

Primary point of contact for resolving client issues for accounts ranging from simple to more complex, collaborating with auction teams and stakeholders.

Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and concerns related to vehicle condition/discrepancies, fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Coordinate sale vehicle run processes and maintain direct communication with other auction departments to ensure appropriate movement of client inventory and timely completion of reconditioning services.

Inspect vehicles in the sales lineup to ensure standards and quality, complete reconditioning estimates, coordinate and approve reconditioning services, and conduct condition report and imaging audits to reduce risk of policy loss and goodwill expenses.

Demonstrate proficient knowledge of condition report data and vehicle inspection process to identify previous paint, auto body repairs, frame damage, PDR, etc.

Educate and act as liaison for clients on auction processes and recommend and/or upsell Manheim/CAI products and services based on client needs.

Demonstrate effective prioritization skills, professionalism in client relationships, and resolve client issues promptly and professionally.

Coordinate redemptions, ensure proper documentation, comply with PII policies, and provide exceptional customer service.

Adhere to Cox standards and guidelines regarding reconditioning services, ensuring consistent quality and accuracy per client SLA guidelines.

Use NAAA guidelines to ensure proper placement of vehicle announcements and/or brands.

Use Microsoft Office and other internal business platforms proficiently.

Participate in safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence and follow all safety and health procedures.

Perform any other duties assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in a related field, OR a higher degree or certification beyond HS diploma, OR 5 years of experience in a related field.

Safe drivers with valid driver’s license.

Prior experience with vehicle reconditioning and/or general auto body knowledge.

Self‑starter capable of working with minimal supervision.

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Team‑based interpersonal skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Requires physical ability and mental acuity to execute duties within required timeframes.

Work Environment Exposure to outdoor elements, including extreme heat and cold. Moderate noise level. Risks and hazards such as sharp/jagged metal and parts, broken glass, hazardous or caustic chemicals.
