Summary Hexagon's Manufacturing Intelligence business area is seeking a Product Marketing Manager - Stationary / Devices for our North Kingstown, RI or Novi, MI locations. This is a hybrid position.

About the Role: The Product Marketing Manager - Stationary / Devices owns the positioning, messaging, and market activation of Hexagon's devices-led portfolio, focussing mainly on coordinate measuring machine systems (CMMs). The PMM owns products in marketing through the complete lifecycle, from launches / GTM, over updates, to phase-out. This role translates highly technical hardware capabilities into

clear, market-driven value propositions

that enable demand generation, sales execution, and pipeline growth.

This is a

commercial product marketing role . Success is measured by adoption, pipeline impact, and sales effectiveness - not by asset production alone. The PMM partners closely with Product Management, Demand Generation (Regional and divisional), and Sales to ensure device launches and ongoing campaigns drive measurable business outcomes.

What You'll Do

Own

product positioning and value propositions

for Stationary / Devices / CMMs by persona, industry, and use case.

Lead

modern product launches

(major and minor), including launch narratives, messaging frameworks, and integrated activation plans.

Translate technical specifications (accuracy, tolerances, performance, reliability) into

customer and business value .

Partner with Demand Generation to support

bottom-of-funnel campaigns

and ABX motions that accelerate pipeline.

Work closely with sales and business enablement teams to equip sales with clear talk tracks, competitive positioning, demo narratives, and proof points that support deal progression

Work closely with Product Management to align roadmap, features, and market needs into coherent go-to-market stories.

Support regional marketing teams with guidance for localization and in-market execution (without rebuilding everything locally).

Contribute to competitive intelligence, win/loss insights, and continuous refinement of messaging based on market feedback.

Lead the adoption and use of AI tools, including Jasper.ai , to drive market intelligence, competitive insights, customer signal analysis, messaging optimization, content creation, and prioritization of product launches and campaign focus areas.

Act as a hands‑on content creator across written and video formats , producing self‑built launch assets, sales enablement, campaign inputs, and thought leadership. Product Marketing is expected to be

campaign‑embedded and visible , with PMMs acting as credible product voices that drive engagement and influence buying decisions.

Qualifications

5-7 years

of Product Marketing experience in B2B technology.

Direct experience with

metrology, hardware, CMMs, or precision industrial equipment .

Strong understanding of

technical buyer personas

(engineers, quality leaders, manufacturing decision‑makers).

Proven ability to develop

market‑ and value‑driven positioning , not feature‑led messaging.

Experience supporting

campaigns that drive measurable pipeline impact.

Track record of delivering

modern, interactive device launches

(digital, events, demos).

Comfortable operating in a

matrixed organization

across Product, Sales, and Marketing.

Clear, structured communicator with strong business judgment and execution bias.

Works in an office setting, with regular visits to the factory floor.
