Base Salary:

$86,094 - $104,648 Return on Asset Eligible:

Up to 33% of annual eligible earnings Profit Share (5‑year average):

Nucor Rebar Fabrication is searching for an Inside Sales Lead to support our sales department. This person adds value by leading our inside sales team. Core responsibilities include supervising sales representatives and sales administrators. Successful candidates excel in relationship development, teamwork, and possess a can‑do attitude, looking to grow within our dynamic company. Responsibilities

Create a “Safety First” culture in the branch. Demonstrate conduct consistent with Nucor Rebar Fabrication’s mission and initiatives. Lead the inside sales team located at the Nucor Fabrication site. Manage bid lists daily; print and review reports, incoming transmittals, and customer plans. Track bid assignments to estimators; take calls, hunt down details, coordinate with branch detailing and production teams, and allocate resources on schedules and capacities. Follow up on quoted jobs to determine status and negotiate if necessary. Prepare contract routing sheets for secured jobs, enter them into the system and distribute to detailers. Produce and send retail bids and small project estimates. Negotiate sales of Nucor Rebar Fabrication materials with customer accounts securing new construction contracts. Ensure required drawings, credit information, order data and contact names are received before work proceeds. Proactively drive change, continually improve processes and workplace effectiveness. Provide clear written and verbal communication of issues, opportunities, and solutions. Represent the organization in local communities. Develop and maintain cordial customer relationships. Collaborate with other sales departments, regions, and support teams. Maintain awareness of rebar market dynamics and communicate significant market data to regional commercial groups. Attend construction industry functions to keep knowledge of market trends. Assist in resolving claims and disputes between Nucor Rebar Fabrication and customers. If necessary, assist in collecting money. Safety Requirements

Safety is the most important aspect of all jobs within Nucor. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum Requirements

Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferences

Three or more years of reinforcing steel sales, detailing, fabrication, placing, or related steel industry experience. Two or more years of team leadership experience. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Experience interfacing with customers and providing customer service. Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft products. What You Need to Know

Extended hours may be required during peak production; work often performed beyond the normal weekday schedule. Occasional travel may be necessary. Walking, sitting, standing, bending.
