Position Summary
The Marketing Manager owns brand governance, demand generation, strategic partnerships, and experiential marketing for Snake Oil Cocktail Company and its venues. This role exists to professionalize marketing execution, expand market presence through intentional partnerships and company‑produced events, and align all marketing activity to sales strategy and operational capacity.
The Marketing Manager translates business priorities into structured campaigns, curated experiences, and external visibility initiatives that drive measurable commercial impact. This role exercises independent judgment, operates with high accountability, and serves as the primary owner of external marketing vendors including social media and public relations agencies. It requires disciplined leadership presence, including facilitation and participation in recurring cross‑functional meetings to ensure alignment across Sales, Operations, and Marketing.
Core Responsibilities Brand Strategy and Governance
Own and enforce brand standards across all venues, channels, partnerships, and collateral
Ensure consistent visual, verbal, and experiential brand representation across owned and produced events
Maintain and evolve brand positioning in alignment with growth strategy and market opportunities
Prevent unauthorized, inconsistent, or off‑brand marketing activity
Strategic Partnerships and Market Visibility
Identify, evaluate, and manage strategic vendor and venue partnerships that support brand exposure and revenue growth
Lead development of company‑produced events such as industry showcases, bridal events, styled shoots, and media presentations
Collaborate with Operations and Sales to ensure partnerships and events align with operational feasibility and commercial goals
Serve as brand steward in external collaborations, ensuring premium positioning and execution discipline
Experiential Marketing and Content Production
Own concept development and execution of styled shoots and experiential content initiatives
Oversee creative direction to ensure assets support sales enablement and brand storytelling
Ensure experiential marketing efforts translate into reusable, high‑quality content for campaigns and sales tools
Demand Generation and Campaign Execution
Design and execute structured marketing campaigns aligned to venue sales goals and seasonal demand
Build and maintain disciplined campaign calendars rather than reactive one‑off promotions
Support lead generation for venue and event sales through integrated campaigns and partnerships
Partner with Sales leadership to align campaigns to pipeline needs and target client segments
Digital, Social Media, and Public Relations Oversight
Own website content, structure, and optimization
Direct social media strategy with emphasis on brand elevation, audience growth, and conversion support
Manage external social media agencies and public relations firms, including scope, performance, and deliverables
Ensure earned media, press placements, and digital presence reinforce premium positioning
Sales Enablement
Develop marketing assets that directly support Senior Sales Managers
Create pitch decks, proposals, and visual tools aligned to brand and pricing strategy
Ensure marketing materials reinforce commercial discipline and premium value proposition
Performance Measurement and Reporting
Track campaign performance, partnership impact, and marketing return on investment
Provide regular reporting on lead quality, engagement, and revenue influence
Recommend course corrections based on data rather than anecdote
Maintain clarity on which initiatives drive revenue versus distraction
Cross‑Functional Leadership and Cadence
Establish and run regular cross‑functional marketing, sales, and operations alignment meetings
Attend leadership and planning meetings as required to ensure visibility and accountability
Partner with Vice President of Operations to align marketing timing with operational capacity
Participate in leadership planning discussions as a commercial stakeholder
Required Competencies

Experience And Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of professional marketing experience
Experience supporting sales‑driven organizations required
Hospitality, events, or premium service industry experience strongly preferred
Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and analytics tools
Strong working knowledge of content management systems and design tools
