Trade Sales Manager
Location: Brentwood, Essex
Salary: £35,000–£38,000 per annum
Hours: 8:00 am–5:30 pm
Job type: Permanent, full-time
A leading automotive specialist is looking to hire an experienced Trade Sales Manager to lead a fast‑paced B2B trade function. This role is suited to someone who can manage daily activity, drive revenue growth, and build long‑term relationships with professional customers, including workshops, specialists and performance garages.
Key responsibilities
Lead and manage the Trade Sales Team, monitoring activity, performance and KPI delivery
Drive daily sales performance to achieve monthly revenue targets
Strengthen relationships with existing trade customers and onboard new accounts
Work closely with senior management to support and deliver sales strategies
Oversee outbound sales activity, quoting, account management and margin control
Ensure the team follows internal processes, SOPs and credit‑safe procedures
About you
Proven experience in Trade Sales, B2B Account Management, or Sales Management
Background in automotive, aftermarket parts, industrial supply, wholesale, or a similar trade‑led sector
Confident in managing KPIs, targets and high‑volume daily activity
Strong relationship‑building skills with the ability to influence and develop accounts
