Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Director to lead our residential adolescent program . The Clinical Director will be responsible for overseeing all clinical operations, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based treatment. This role requires strong leadership, program development skills, and the ability to foster a positive and therapeutic culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical oversight and direction for the residential treatment program.
  • Supervise and support a team of therapists, case managers, and clinical staff.
  • Ensure all services align with best practices, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to adolescents with behavioral health needs.
  • Monitor clinical outcomes and continuously improve program effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with medical, educational, and administrative staff to ensure holistic care.
  • Maintain compliance with state licensing and insurance requirements.
  • Facilitate staff training, professional development, and clinical supervision.
  • Serve as a liaison with families, referral sources, and community partners.

Qualifications

  • Required: Masters or Doctorate in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Licensure: Active California clinical license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, or equivalent) required.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in behavioral health, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Preferred: Experience working in adolescent residential treatment settings.
  • Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, CBT, DBT, and evidence-based interventions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and crisis management skills.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and regulatory compliance.
