Responsibilities
- Lead the Microsoft Alliance and Sales Team, recruit and retain top talent, and actively coach the dedicated team of Solution Relationship (Sales) Directors selling and deal shaping.
- Proactively go to market with KPMG and Microsoft account teams to penetrate new clients and markets, expand client footprints, identify, pursue and win large transformational deals.
- Manage pipeline, monthly commitments and deal close plans; guide the development of land and expand plans for existing clients.
- Oversee the KPMG Microsoft Alliance Director who manages the day‑to‑day alliance relationship.
- Support the development of new and enhanced industry/client‑ready alliance‑based offers; engage with and support the KPMG Industry and Markets sales teams.
- Manage the solution architect to enable and support Microsoft SMC channel sales; project a strong executive presence and be a KPMG Values role model.
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of recent alliance management and solution sales experience focusing on major national or global accounts with a verifiable track record of success; at least five years working in the Microsoft sales channel; experience selling consulting services leveraging the Microsoft platform; knowledge and experience with the entire Microsoft stack; general understanding of Microsoft Industry Clouds, AI, Security and data.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience.
- Strong, energetic go‑to‑market and leadership skills to help our firm win more business, reduce cycle times and improve overall win rate.
- Excellent consultative and interpersonal skills that have resulted in C‑level and functional VP business relationships of impeccable trust, confidence and results.
- Able to understand complex content and relate it around industry issues, client needs, and KPMG service offerings.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future and able to travel regularly.
Compensation & Benefits
California salary range: $315,000 – $787,800. Additional compensation and benefits include a comprehensive, competitive package with options designed to help you make the best decisions for yourself, your family, and your lifestyle. Our Total Rewards package includes medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, 401(k) plans, and a robust suite of well‑being benefits.
