A leading California law firm with nearly a century of excellence inmunicipal and public law is seeking aRemote Public Law Associate (3+ years) — orJunior Income Partner — to join its statewide practice.
This is an outstanding opportunity to representpublic agencies, municipalities, and governmental entities throughout California. While the position is fully remote, the firmprefers candidates based in Northern California for easier client collaboration and court appearances when needed.
⚖️ What You’ll Do
- Advise and representpublic agencies, cities, counties, school districts, and special districts
- Handle matters involvinggovernance, land use, contracts, employment, litigation, and regulatory compliance
- Provideday-to-day operational counsel to municipal and public agency clients
- Draft and reviewordinances, resolutions, and contracts
- Support litigation and transactional matters involvingpublic entities
- Collaborate with experienced attorneys across departments on complex legal issues
✅ What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience inpublic or municipal law (law firm or government setting)
- California Bar admission required
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and advisory skills
- Familiarity withBrown Act, Public Records Act, Political Reform Act , and other public agency regulations preferred
- Team-oriented, client-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities
