Tatum was recently made aware of an immediate remote need with a portfolio client of our Private Equity sponsor. We are seeking an experienced Tax Leader with deep technical expertise and excellent advisory skills to support senior management within a mid‑sized technology company. The role is replacing an existing position and will work via contract for 3 to 4 months with the chance of conversion to the permanent position.
Location and Compensation
- Location: New York, New York
- Job Type: Contract
- Salary: $90 – $130 per hour
- Work Hours: 9 to 5
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: 7 Years
Responsibilities
- Lead corporate tax compliance and reporting for over 14 countries worldwide
- Support global tax strategy & planning optimization
- Support tax audits & inquiries while working with external advisors
- Partner with finance, treasury, operations and business leaders across the organization
- Support compliance with IFRS and GAAP reporting standards across multiple entities
- Stay informed of international tax regulations and US‑specific guidelines
Qualifications
- 7+ years of corporate tax experience
- Recent international tax experience at the corporate level
- CPA preferred; Master’s in Taxation preferred
- Immediate availability preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail needed
