Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek a Director of Client Accounting Services to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new CAS clients through networking, referrals, and strategic outreach efforts
- Develop customized proposals, pricing structures, and engagement scopes to win new business
- Build a strong market presence by cultivating your personal and professional brand within the community
- Collaborate with marketing and leadership to execute growth strategies and expand the CAS practice
- Drive client retention and growth by delivering exceptional service and identifying cross-sell opportunities
- Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic lead for key client relationships
- Provide high-level financial insights, including budgeting, forecasting, KPI development, and analysis
- Oversee client accounting operations, including monthly close, reporting, cash flow, and compliance
- Lead and mentor a growing team, fostering development across all levels of staff
- Implement scalable tech-enabled workflows while ensuring quality control and compliance with standards
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive public accounting experience
- Leadership in public accounting and/or outsourced accounting services
- Ability to generate new business and grow client accounts
- Strong financial acumen and advisory experience
- CPA preferred
- Proficient in cloud-based accounting platforms
