Role: Director Account Management (Banking)

Location: San Francisco, CA

Duration: Full time

BGV will be done for the selected candidates.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Own and execute sales target for named large banking Client
  • Work with the US based Capgemini Account Management team to expand business with the India captive operation for the Bank
  • Manage relationship with CXO level Client executives and key buyers in the client’s India captive operations
  • Generate new opportunities or expand existing engagements
  • Engage with Client teams for sales leads
  • Work with Solutions teams to prepare winning proposals
  • Lead and/or facilitate Client presentations
  • Craft commercial solutions and propositions
  • Negotiate Commercials and Statement of Work
  • Coordinate with internal Staffing and Recruitment for demand fulfilment
  • Represent as the Capgemini Account Management team in India in key Client interactions
  • Manage the billing, invoicing and collections process
  • Manage People Care aspect of Capgemini consultants on the Client engagement

Required Skills

  • Prior IT Sales and Sales Support / Sales enablement role for BFSI clients
  • Good knowledge of Banking and Financial Services industry domain skills – especially in areas like Commercial Banking, Payments and Treasury, Lending, Credit Cards, Wealth and Investment Management, Capital Markets
  • Good knowledge of emerging trends in IT like Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, Robotic Process Automation
  • Directly leading sales of IT consulting projects with annual values exceeding $15M+
  • Prior experience of working in a multi-cultural environment and working with teams in India, including client personnel in India captives
  • Prior IT Project/ Delivery Management experience is a plus
  • Prior experience of working with IT captive setup of large Banks is a must
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Educational qualification – BS / BE/ B. Tech preferably with MBA
  • Excellent performance track record
  • Excellent industry connection especially in banking sector
