5 PM) Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional data entry clerk to join our team for a high-priority, short-term project. While this role begins as a temporary assignment (approximately 3 months), there is a strong potential for the position to become permanent for the right candidate who demonstrates exceptional accuracy and a commitment to customer service. Key Responsibilities High-volume data entry: accurately enter and update sensitive information into our internal databases. Quality assurance: audit entered data for errors or discrepancies and correct them immediately to maintain data integrity. Customer service excellence: handle occasional inquiries via phone or email with a professional and helpful demeanor. Administrative support: assist with filing, scanning, and organizing digital documents as needed. Deadline management: prioritize tasks to meet daily and weekly output goals. Required Skills & Qualifications Precision & accuracy: a "measure twice, cut once" mindset; high attention to detail is non-negotiable. Communication: excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and customers. Technical proficiency: strong typing speed (WPM) and experience with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Outlook). Reliability: consistent attendance for the 1st shift and a strong work ethic. Adaptability: ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and pivot between data entry and customer service tasks.
