Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise the exhibit carpentry team’s workload, ensuring timely, efficient project completion.
Cut, fabricate, and install wooden and other structural components per detailed specifications.
Cut and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other exhibit items as designated.
Collaborate with project managers and clients to interpret design plans and ensure accurate execution.
Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all health and safety standards and protocols.
Monitor and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring proper use and safety.
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
Ensure quality control throughout all stages of construction.
Requirements
5+ years of carpentry experience, preferably in exhibit or trade‑show structures.
3+ years in a leadership or management role.
Strong knowledge of wood properties, carpentry materials, and tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
OSHA certification.
Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program required.
