Responsibilities Installs, repairs and maintains plumbing systems at the McEntire Air National Guard Base to include 70,000 linear feet of water distribution line, 45,000 linear feet of sewer line, and the installation, maintenance and repair of interior plumbing requirements for 79 facilities. Installs and maintains showers, sinks, toilets, and lavatories. Repairs sprinkler systems as necessary. Change filters, repair separators, and change meters as necessary.
Qualifications A high school diploma and trade experience that is directly related to plumbing and associated systems. Must be certified in backflow prevention requirements. Additional Comments: Individual must have and maintain a valid South Carolina Driver’s license. Must be able to climb ladders, operate equipment, work outside in extreme conditions and lift 75 pounds. A resume will not be accepted in lieu of an online South Carolina State Employment Application. Only those applicants chosen for interview will be notified of job filled status.
