Handle inquiry calls, schedule assessments, and triage to appropriate community referrals Assess or coordinate assessments by qualified mental health professionals, screening for emergencies Perform comprehensive assessments and coordinate care for patients with substance abuse, dual diagnosis, or psychiatric disorders Interpret treatment plans to patients and families to facilitate acceptance and continuation of care Complete administrative processes for admissions and precertification with external payers Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited nursing program or relevant state licensure Current unencumbered license to practice nursing in the state CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment Must be at least 21 years old Valid driver’s license, favorable MVR, and proof of insurance if using own vehicle Preferred experience in psychiatric healthcare with assessment skills Additional Details
