Job Description At Ascentium Capital, the Business Performance Manager is a key driver of strategic execution and operational excellence. This role ensures the profitable delivery of Ascentium’s business objectives while serving as a trusted subject matter expert across multiple functions. The position oversees critical operational teams and acts as a strategic connector between business units and corporate partners to enable growth and efficiency. Working closely with executive and senior leadership, this role influences strategy, optimizes sales operations and tools, and leads the execution of high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
Leads and manages the Merchant Finance Operations team and Ascentium tax team
Partners closely with finance to develop annual financial strategic plans, budgets, monthly performance reporting, and model initiatives
Manages monthly sales incentive reporting and serves as the primary point of contact for all incentive-related inquiries
Owns monthly KPI Dashboard and Originations reporting
Manages BRC Metric Reporting and participate in the Small Business Risk Oversight Forum
Delivers ad hoc reporting for senior management and channel leaders
Acts as a liaison between Ascentium and Consumer/Commercial teams for cross-sell execution
Coordinates with Information Technology on MOA, VCRM, and LeaseWave system issues
Liases with Compliance on formal complaints, relating to issues around UDAAP, Disparate Impact, Do Not Solicit, AI integration, and formal complaints
Leads onboarding of new vendor programs, including feasibility analysis, contracting, financial modeling, and profitability assessment
Maintains and curates Ascentium’s inventory of vendor rate card offerings
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
Seven (7) years of experience in financial services, business performance management, or related roles

Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
Job Range Target: Minimum:
$119,203.00 USD
Median:
$153,700.00 USD
Incentive Pay Plans: This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals. Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
