Position Description
As a Custodian, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities: Cleaning & Maintenance
Maintain cubicles, conference rooms, bathrooms, cafeteria areas, and mother’s rooms
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; spot-clean small carpet stains
Clean TVs, glass, mirrors, and desks
Refill and clean coffee machines
Refill sanitizer stations across campus
Trash & Waste Management
Collect trash from bathrooms, conference rooms, common areas, cafeterias, and cubicles
Set up extra cardboard trash and recycling bins for outdoor events
Supply & Inventory Management
Monitor, restock, and maintain supplies in janitorial closets (e.g., toilet paper, paper towels)
Replenish cases of water for conference rooms
Monitor and refill printer paper
Maintain supply of whiteboard markers for conference rooms and cubicles
Stock break room supplies (coffee, tea stations, etc.)
Transportation
Drive company vehicles (pickup trucks, small vans, passenger vehicles)
Position Requirements
This position requires the following skills and attributes: Speak and understand English.
Must have a valid California driver’s license.
DMV check is required
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Work well independently and as part of a team.
Basic maintenance skills such as clearing drains and toilets.
Preferred
The following skills and attributes are preferred: Basic computer skills.
