About the Role As a Staff Product Designer at Veeam, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our user experience across the Veeam products. Whether your focus is on advancing our Design System, defining common workflows, driving growth, or delivering end-to-end experiences for key workloads, you’ll be empowered to lead high-impact initiatives that simplify complexity, accelerate innovation, and deliver measurable business value. You’ll collaborate deeply with cross-functional teams, leverage AI to accelerate research and design, and help set the standard for world-class, unified, and accessible product experiences.

What You’ll Do

Lead the design and delivery of high-impact projects in one or more of the following areas: Design System, Common Workflows, Growth UX, or Workload UX

Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and other designers to define and implement scalable patterns, workflows, and user journeys that drive clarity, consistency, and delight

Leverage AI-assisted research and rapid prototyping to validate ideas, accelerate discovery, and inform evidence-led design decisions

Champion accessibility, usability, and design quality, ensuring every solution meets or exceeds our standards for excellence

Mentor and support other designers, engineers, and PMs in best practices for your area of focus

Measure and communicate the impact of your work through usability, satisfaction, adoption, and business metrics

Participate in and help facilitate design reviews, standards audits, and cross-team ceremonies to drive alignment and continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring

6+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating impact in at least one of the following: design systems, workflow design, growth/adoption UX, or complex workload/product experiences

Deep expertise in design thinking, interaction design, visual design, and/or information architecture, with a systems-thinking mindset

Proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment and deliver solutions that balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints

Experience with AI-assisted design tools, rapid prototyping, and evidence-led design methodologies

Strong communication, collaboration, and mentorship skills; able to influence and inspire across teams

Passion for accessibility, usability, and delivering measurable business outcomes through design

Comfort working in a fast-paced, iterative, and collaborative environment

Bonus Skills

Experience designing for enterprise SaaS, cloud platforms, or large-scale B2B products

Demonstrated success in leveraging AI/automation to accelerate design workflows

Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Storybook, ZeroHeight, Miro, FigJam, or similar

Formal training in Human Factors, Interaction Design, or similar

Experience operationalizing design system governance, workflow standards, or growth experimentation at scale

Compensation Transparency

Veeam is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation. For this role, the compensation range below reflects the expected total target compensation (TTC), inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance-based bonus. For roles with a commission plan, the compensation range represents On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus variable commission. When determining compensation, Veeam takes into consideration factors such as experience, education, skills, and geographic zone. Offers are typically made below the midpoint of the range.

In addition to compensation, Veeam provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage, retirement plans, and unlimited time off.

U.S. Geographic Zones & Compensation Ranges (TTC / OTE)

Zone 1: San Francisco Bay Area, New York City Boroughs — $250,400 — $465,100 USD

Zone 2: Washington, California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area) — $229,600 — $426,300 USD

Zone 3: Texas, Illinois, North Carolina, Colorado, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Oregon, Nevada, Hawaii, New York (excluding NYC boroughs); Sales roles located in Georgia, Ohio, and Arizona — $208,700 — $387,600 USD

Zone 4: All other US locations — $181,600 — $337,100 USD
