Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute growth strategies for the Asset Management tax practice, working with national leadership.
Client Service:
Provide expert tax planning and consulting for complex financial services clients, building strong relationships.
Business Development:
Generate new revenue, cross-sell services, and expand the client base.
Team Management:
Lead engagement teams, mentor and develop junior staff, and foster future leaders.
Technical Expertise:
Oversee compliance and consulting on partnership tax, ASC 740 (Accounting for Income Taxes), fiduciary taxes, and international tax matters.
Key Qualifications
Experience:
12+ years in business taxation, ideally with Big 4 or large national firms, focusing on Private Equity, Venture Capital, Hedge Funds, or similar investment vehicles.
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor's in Accounting, plus CPA, JD, or LLM required.
Skills:
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, strong critical thinking, excellent communication, and leadership.
