
Human Resources Employee Relations Specialist

Position Overview
The Employee Relations Specialist is expected under general direction to assist in the investigation of employee concerns, ensure compliance with labor laws, and assist in the orientation of new and existing employees to CAMBA’s mission and all policies and procedures in the areas of employee relations, performance management, Code of Ethics, and management exceptions.
What Does The Employee Relations Specialist Do
Assist in preventing, identifying, and addressing workplace concerns related to reports of workplace misconduct, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other employment-law issues.
Assist in the investigation of workplace concerns to include conducting interviews, review of electronic documentation and camera footage reviews.
Assist in the management and investigation of client program complaints related to employee conduct.
Provide assistance and guidance to management teams on HR policies and procedures, to ensure compliance with CAMBA and employment laws and regulations.
Provide guidance to management teams on coaching principles, progressive disciplinary practices, and performance management issues.
Assist in the design and facilitation of orientation and professional development trainings.
Utilize HRIS program to document and manage employee files, to include terminations, disciplines, and compliance training certification.
Assist in the management of CAMBA’s compliance with federal and state health and safety regulations.
Assist and provide guidance to ensure Human Resource actions comply with federal, state, local employment laws and regulations and CAMBA policies and practices.
Communicate with peers in other CAMBA programs on issues related to compliance.
Prepare reports related to the scope of work and/or statistical information for both CAMBA management and funder use.
Tasks may be modified, expanded, and/or assigned over time.
