Key Responsibilities
Recovery & Remarketing:
Oversee, assign, and execute recovery and remarketing tasks for defaulted equipment and assets, ensuring efficient and cost-effective outcomes.
Skip Tracing:
Utilize advanced skip tracing techniques to locate customers and assets, leveraging multiple communication channels and investigative tools.
Coordination:
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to facilitate timely repossession,, and resale of assets.
Customer Engagement:
Build rapport with slow-paying customers, negotiate payment solutions, and collect deficiency balances post-remarketing.
Strategic Recommendations:
Analyze accounts and recommend loss mitigation strategies, including potential legal actions, to management.
Valuation & Pricing:
Assist in establishing collateral value and floor pricing for remarketing efforts.
Documentation:
Maintain meticulous records, request and distribute titles, and ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant.
Compliance:
Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and all applicable state and federal regulations.
Process Improvement:
Continuously seek ways to improve recovery processes and outcomes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Solid Tenure:
Demonstrated stability and success in previous collections roles.
Industry Expertise:
Extensive experience in automotive collections or equipment finance collections; exposure to commercial trucks, trailers, construction, or agriculture is a plus.
Skip Tracing Mastery:
Proven ability to locate hard-to-find customers and assets using advanced skip tracing methods.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce and Odessa is highly desirable.
Communication & Negotiation:
Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Team Player:
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, 100% in-office environment.
Education:
2+ years of college education preferred.
Bilingual:
English/Spanish fluency is a plus.
Salary Range:
$48,000 – $54,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
