THE ROLE The Leasing Professional is the front line of the business.

You are not a greeter. You are not a tour guide. You are a closer.

Every prospect interaction matters. Every lease counts.

WHAT YOU’LL DO Lease with Purpose

Respond to all inquiries—phone, email, and in-person—with speed and professionalism

Conduct confident, structured property tours that highlight value—not just features

Guide prospects through applications, documentation, and lease execution

Overcome objections and close decisively

Maintain mastery of pricing, availability, floor plans, amenities, and incentives

Deliver a High-Standard Resident Experience

Create a welcoming, professional environment for current and future residents

Address resident concerns with urgency and ownership

Partner with maintenance and management to ensure follow-through

Support retention by reinforcing value and community standards

Support Marketing & Outreach

Assist in executing on-site and off-site marketing initiatives

Participate in outreach efforts to drive traffic and brand awareness

Ensure online listings, ILS platforms, and social channels are accurate and current

Represent the property professionally at all times

Own the Administrative Details

Maintain clean, accurate records of prospect interactions and leases

Process applications and follow up consistently—no leads left behind

Conduct market surveys and monitor competition to stay competitive

Use CRM and property management systems with discipline

Operate as a Team

Collaborate with property management to achieve occupancy and revenue goals

Participate actively in team meetings and performance discussions

Assist with resident events that strengthen community and retention

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred

Prior experience in leasing, sales, or customer service strongly preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software

Excellent organization, time management, and multitasking skills

Willingness to work weekends and maintain a flexible schedule
