
Key Responsibilities
Financial Modeling:
Build and maintain sophisticated models to support asset performance, refinancing, and disposition strategies.
Strategic Analysis:
Conduct investment valuations, return projections, and comprehensive asset reviews to optimize portfolio value.
Transaction Support:
Assist in the execution of refinancing and disposition transactions.
Market Intelligence:
Perform market research, data mining, and comparable sale/company analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.
Operations & Leasing:
Analyze leasing activity and its impact on asset valuation and cash flow.
Innovation:
Support new business initiatives, including PropTech investing and co-working strategies.
Reporting:
Draft internal and external memoranda and develop high-level presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required. A Master’s in Real Estate or an MBA is considered a significant plus.
Experience:
1–3 years of relevant commercial real estate experience (Asset Management, Investment Banking, or Acquisitions preferred).
Technical Skills:
Expert-level proficiency in
Excel
(financial modeling is a core component of this role).
Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of
Argus Enterprise
and
MRI
is a plus (training will be provided for the right candidate).
Analytical Mindset:
Strong understanding of IRR, NPV, and discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis. Ability to interpret financial statements and credit analysis.
Communication:
Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to present complex data clearly to stakeholders.
Sustainability:
Interest in ESG; LEED accreditation is a plus (and will be supported/required during the employment period).
Soft Skills:
Outstanding time management and the ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
