Your next role In this role, you will work with the Business Development and Pursuits team members, partners, and senior staff to design and deliver all qualifications, proposals, presentations and other marketing collateral in alignment with brand standards, primarily in New York and the East Coast.

Your key duties

Full comprehension of how RFQs/RFPs are written and the requirements for a standard submittal

Full comprehension of Buro Happold’s portfolio of work, key sectors/markets, and firm wide philosophy and capabilities

Lead bid kick-off calls with senior leadership to review logistics (deadlines, responsibilities for tasks, etc.) and develop first draft approaches, project experience and CV materials with limited oversight

Proactively maintain and update marketing collateral including but not limited to capability statements, resumes, project sheets, technical approach text, government forms (ie: SF 330) etc., as well as participate in maintenance and organization of Buro Happold’s project data and narrative archives

Support the pursuits team on additional collateral needs such as compiling material for award submissions, assisting with preparations for conferences and speaking events, and other special projects

As needed research of local, regional and national online sources for potential opportunities

Research on key clients, potential clients and anticipated projects as it relates to bid preparation and must win themes

Assist in planning and organizing internal events, as needed

Actively engage in weekly US Marketing/BD calls with team

Your Skills And Experience As a highly motivated pursuits professional, it is expected that you could demonstrate:

3- 6 years of professional experience in a marketing profession with a design or professional services firm, preferably in the AEC industry, where you have actively responded to RFQ/RFP requests

High proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop

High proficiency with all Microsoft applications

Experience with proposals for end clients and/or architect and other collaborators for new business opportunities

Impeccable attention to detail and an authentic investment in producing high quality materials

Keen eye for graphic design as it relates to proposal development

Excellent organizational and time management skills, and can prioritize multiple initiatives at once

Thrives under pressure and adapts easily to the demands for materials while maintaining composure and accuracy

Solution-oriented, and takes initiative early and often

Listens to feedback and shows immediate understanding

Highly creative; great attitude and works well in teams

An appreciation for the contribution that engineering makes to the built environment at all scales

What We Offer

Salary range of $70,000 - $80,000. This will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience
