Our client, a
New York City-based architecture firm , is seeking an
experienced Senior Pursuits Specialist
to collaborate with a dynamic team and support the firm's pursuit efforts. In this position, you will craft compelling proposals, marketing materials, and presentations, leveraging digital marketing strategies to promote the brand and secure new work. The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter and enthusiastic team player.
Job Details:
Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, qualification packages, and interview presentations, including government submissions (SF-330, AE, etc.) and freeform submissions.
Coordinate internal stakeholders and external consultants, managing pursuits from start to finish.
Collaborate with Pursuits Managers and the Director on strategic messaging and storytelling.
Create and maintain marketing materials such as qualification packages, interview materials, project sheets, resumes, and targeted marketing content.
Participate in internal client development and pursuits meetings.
Maintain accurate project data and marketing collateral within the firm's knowledge management systems, including Deltek Vantagepoint and OpenAsset.
Graphic Design Focus:
Serve as a resource for the pursuits team regarding Adobe Creative Suite technical questions and graphic design principles.
Support training and ongoing development of the pursuits team on topics like template use and brand guidelines.
Enhance graphic deliverables by providing document clean-up, pursuit-specific templates, and designing client-focused collateral.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, graphic design, or related fields.
Experience in a similar role within the A/E/C industry or professional services firms is highly preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to review work for accuracy and quality.
Ability to manage multiple efforts, establish timelines, and prioritize deadlines.
Demonstrated critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
Effective presentation of design concepts to internal stakeholders.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
Experience with Adobe InDesign for proposal development.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint and/or OpenAsset is a plus.
Curiosity and interest in evolving digital design technologies.
Salary:
$75,000 - $85,000 based on experience.
