Reporting to the Lead National COI and Community Engagement Manager and part of the National Strategic Markets & Affordable Lending team, this role will manage and lead the development and execution of business line growth strategies in alignment with local mortgage sales leaders, internal teams, and community partners. Primary Responsibilities
Ideation and execution of efforts to advance homeownership opportunities within all markets, including strategic and affordable markets Provide coaching and development to sales teams on efforts and opportunities that create and advance impactful business development Build pipeline of opportunities that enable further business line growth Manage key relationships with internal and external partners to drive new opportunities Engage with partners as necessary to review performance and drive strategic objectives Build and support reporting requirements to ensure business development efforts are delivered as needed Analyze data to drive strategy enhancements and inform management decisions Manage performance to ensure pipeline impact for mortgage sales teams Develop strategies and execute outreach models that promote homeownership opportunities with U.S. Bank Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience Eight to ten years of experience in project management activities Skills and Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) mortgage lending experience or related relationship/outreach experience Strategic, curious, action-oriented leader who can balance moving quickly with an eye on long-term objectives Outstanding customer service, event management, and problem resolution skills Advanced knowledge of departmental and bank products and services Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong organizational and analytical skills Demonstrated management and leadership skills Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data Master’s degree preferred Travel: 25–40% travel required for this role.
