
Ad Sales Account Executive (Digital + Social Sponsorships)

Key Responsibilities
Drive revenue through digital-first and social sponsorships, branded content integrations, and cross-platform campaigns (YouTube, TikTok, IG, X, VICE TV) Build and maintain relationships with media agencies, brand partners, and creative agencies focused on sports, culture, and lifestyle Develop custom sponsorship opportunities in partnership with VICE Studios, Marketing, and Editorial teams—spanning on-air integrations, social storytelling, and experiential extensions Work closely with internal stakeholders to build media plans, pricing, and integrated pitch materials aligned with client objectives Proactively identify and close new business opportunities, leveraging VICE Sports’ growing slate of premium series, live sports, and social franchises Track/forecast revenue, ensuring consistent pipeline management and reporting to leadership Who You Are
5+ years of experience in digital or social ad sales, ideally within a publisher, agency, or content studio environment Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals across social and video-driven media Deep understanding of branded content, influencer, and sponsorship sales, including production costs, content rights, and platform-specific best practices Creative thinker with a “no two deals are the same” mentality; you can sell both pre-packaged media and bespoke content ideas Strong network across media agencies, sports marketing teams, and entertainment brands Collaborative, entrepreneurial, and passionate about culture and storytelling in sports Bonus
Experience working across both digital and linear sales or partnerships Familiarity with FAST / AVOD / OTT distribution models and social monetization (YouTube, Snap, Meta) Prior experience at a cultural or editorial brand (VICE, Complex, Bleacher Report, Barstool, etc.) or a sports agency Salary: $110,000-$120,000 + commission annually, dependent on experience.
