sourcing products, identifying opportunities, negotiating deals, and managing customer relationships. No two desks are run the same. Responsibilities:
Learn the industry through our logistics team by expanding transportation networks and negotiating freight rates Prospect, cold call, and qualify customers to build your own book of business Identify market trends and generate new trading opportunities Build long-term client relationships by providing market insight and value Maintain real-time market knowledge to support pricing, risk, and margin decisions You'll thrive in this role if you are: High-energy with a strong entrepreneurial mindset Comfortable with cold calling and relationship-based sales Competitive, ambitious, and motivated by results Strong in problem-solving, analytics, and basic math Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills Able to prioritize and manage multiple moving parts Interested in running your own desk like a business Comfortable using Excel, Word, Google Docs, and similar tools
