Pay Rate: $38,000-$41,000
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

About the Opportunity

A growing manufacturing organization in Elkhart is seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry Specialist to support its operations team. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term growth potential into a full Customer Service Representative (CSR) role.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume, accuracy-driven environment and enjoys behind-the-scenes operational support. You will not be answering phones or interacting directly with customers — your primary focus will be entering and reviewing sales orders with precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter high volumes of sales orders into the company’s ERP system

• Review incoming orders from Customer Service Representatives for accuracy and completeness

• Identify and flag discrepancies or issues that “don’t look right” and ask questions as needed

• Maintain and update Excel-based backorder reports and spreadsheet templates

• Support order flow to ensure sales orders are processed within 24 hours

• Collaborate with the on-site customer service team to manage workflow

• Ask for additional work when tasks are completed and remain proactive in supporting the team

Systems & Tools

• ERP system (Oracle Fusion or similar)

• Microsoft Excel (basic data entry and reporting; no advanced formulas required)

• Email (high-volume order intake)

Qualifications

• Prior experience in data entry, order entry, or clerical/administrative support

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Comfortable with repetitive, high-volume work

• Basic Excel skills (data entry, spreadsheets)

• Ability to ask questions and avoid assumptions

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Ability to work 100% on-site in Elkhart

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred

• Manufacturing, modular housing, or RV industry experience

• Customer service or order processing background

• Experience working in an ERP system

• Longevity in prior roles (2+ years preferred)
