As an Account Manager for Financial Services Sector accounts, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive growth and shape the future of emerging cloud technology. Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration across large enterprise commercial accounts.
The ideal candidate will possess both technical and sales experience that enables discovery of our customers' needs. You will cultivate relationships at the CXO level, while also engaging closely with architecture, software development, and IT roles.
You must demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, develop and execute strategic account plans, coordinate cross-functional teams serving our customers, and deliver against specific role objectives.
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
Key job responsibilities
Meet or exceed assigned revenue targets and sales-specific metrics for your assigned accounts
Create and articulate compelling value propositions that align AWS services with customer business outcomes
Accelerate customer adoption of AWS services through strategic engagement and technical guidance
Develop and nurture long‑term strategic relationships with executive stakeholders

Basic Qualifications
7+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience
Experience working with and presenting to C‑level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent
Experience using English communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster seamless interaction with stakeholders at all levels
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling cloud solutions at a software company or equivalent
Experience with AWS and technology as a service (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS)
Master's degree
Demonstrate ability to build trust and rapport with C‑suite executives, board members, and key clients
