Mutares SE & Co. KGaA, Munich (www.mutares.com), as a listed private equity holding company, acquires medium-sized companies in special situations, which show significant operational improvement potential and are sold again after undergoing a repositioning and stabilization process. Mutares actively support its portfolio companies with its own investment and operations teams and through strategic add-on acquisitions. The focus is on companies with revenues ranging from EUR 100 million to EUR 750 million, across various industries. The aim is to achieve a clear value increase with a focus on sustainable, long-term growth of the portfolio company.

Within our Operations team, we are looking to hire a team member with a successful track record in

ERP Integration

with a continuous improvement attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset. This role will be located at portfolio companies, on-site across Europe.

Your Tasks

Lead end-to-end ERP carve-out programs - from pre-signing planning through post-close stabilization - ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant transitions.

Represent Mutares as the ERP program lead during transactions, driving alignment between internal Mutares teams, portfolio management, external advisors, and implementation partners.

Conduct ERP Due Diligence as part of the M&A process, assessing system landscapes, identifying carve-out complexities, risks, and synergy potential to inform investment decisions.

Steer ERP transformation and modernization projects within portfolio companies, ensuring systems and processes are fit for scalable, stand‑alone operations and value creation.

Identify and realize improvement opportunities at the interface of ERP systems and supply chain processes, optimizing planning, procurement, production, and logistics efficiency across portfolio companies.

Your Profile

Successfully completed a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management with outstanding academic results.

10-15 years of experience in leading supply‑chain operations, ERP transformation, or carve‑out environments, ideally within manufacturing or private equity portfolio companies.

Proven track record in SAP or other leading ERP implementations, including system integration and process optimization across end‑to‑end supply chain functions.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and hands‑on approach.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with business fluency in English and German; French language skills are an advantage.

High degree of flexibility and willingness to travel (typically 3-4 days per week) and to operate effectively in an international, fast‑paced environment.
