Competitive wages $20.00-$45.00 per hour – DOE Year-round work. Overtime pay, (Hourly employees) Company phone/ app and or stipend $10.00-$25.00 per month - DOE Continued education & paid training Company supplied vehicle (for work purposes) Company attire Company tool account Employee referral spiffs. As a m.air HVAC Sheet Metal Installer, you will fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment. If you can do this and meet the following requirements, apply today! m.air Job Outline
Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment, such as ducts, control boxes, drainpipes, and furnace casings. Determine project requirements, such as scope, assembly sequences, or required methods or materials, using blueprints, drawings, or written or verbal instructions. Fasten seams or joints together with welds, bolts, cement, rivets, solder, caulks, metal drive clips, or bonds to assemble components into products or to repair sheet metal items. Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, or smooth surfaces, seams, or joints of assembled parts, using hand tools or portable power tools. Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites, using shears, hammers, punches, or drills. Transport prefabricated parts to construction sites for assembly and installation. Use your skills, knowledge, and craftsmanship to complete most types of residential & commercial projects including new construction, tenant finish, & remodel in professional manner. Set/mount equipment, rough-in and trim duct systems, ‘B’-type and PVC venting, piping, low voltage and control wiring for units, set all units and fans, ERV’s, dampers, actuators, furnaces, fan coils, heat pumps, condensers, and have a working knowledge of mechanical code. Turn in accurate duct make-up/ orders, as well as material lists to the shop in a timely manner. Read and interpret blueprints and specifications. Produce quality work while completing projects on time and within budget. Apply basic knowledge of mechanical code, quality control, and safety policies. Assist with cleaning work areas, as well as restocking supplies and materials as necessary. Be accountable for work time, including clocking in and out of a job site at appropriate times, notes, pics, daily; this includes time management. Proficient computers, smart phone technology, digital timesheets, software, SAGE 100/ SFO, ProCore, Google WorkSpace Must have the ability to work alone or with a team. m.air Job Requirements
Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Must be able to perform work from ladders, mechanical lifts, or in opposing spaces. Must possess a mechanical aptitude. Must maintain a great work ethic with the desire to advance professionally and personally. Must have a positive and trainable attitude while functioning agreeably with different individuals from other levels of work and trades. Must be able to attend company training provided. Must be able to work flexible hours depending on project requirements and season (Standard hours are 7:00am to 5:00pm) 4-10 shifts. Must own or be willing to purchase all tools required for the level of work or advancement. (Bonus) Bilingual – English & Spanish Physical Requirements
Must be able to work outdoors or indoors with dusty, noisy, and hazardous materials. Must be able to work in high elevated places, tight spaces, confined areas, and other adverse locations. Must be able to climb, balance, squat, kneel, and crouch. Must be willing to work in all types of weather year-round. Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 75 pounds. Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Experience
