Join the APPS Paramedical Team – Position - Full-Time Contract Work APPS Paramedical is one of the largest paramedical companies in the nation, providing insurance physicals for individuals applying for life and disability insurance. With a nationwide network and strong reputation for excellence, our Illinois office is currently looking for experienced medical professionals who want to pick up flexible, full-time contract work on their own schedule. About the Role
As an Independent Contractor (IC) with APPS, you’ll use your medical skills to complete insurance exams in a professional and compassionate manner. These mobile exams are typically conducted in a client’s home or office and may include: Blood draws and vital signs. Recording medical histories and obtaining client signatures. Collecting saliva samples and performing 12-lead EKGs (as applicable). Each appointment takes approximately 15–30 minutes and offers an opportunity to make meaningful use of your clinical experience. Equipment Available: Tablets, EKG machines, and centrifuges are available to rent or purchase as needed. What We’re Looking For
At least 2 years of phlebotomy experience and confidence taking vital signs. Comfortable using tablets, computers, and scanners. Friendly, professional demeanor and strong attention to detail. EKG experience is a plus (but not required). Preferred: Experience with pediatric or geriatric patients, or home health. All applicants will be subject to a background check and drug screening. High school diploma or equivalent required. Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification preferred. Note:
