Overview Join the APPS Paramedical Team – Position - Part Time.

APPS Paramedical is one of the largest paramedical companies in the nation, providing insurance physicals for individuals applying for life and disability insurance. With a nationwide network and strong reputation for excellence, our Illinois office is currently looking for experienced medical professionals who want to pick up flexible, part-time work on their own schedule.

About the Role As an Independent Contractor (IC) with APPS, you’ll use your medical skills to complete insurance exams in a professional and compassionate manner. These mobile exams are typically conducted in a client’s home or office and may include:

Blood draws and vital signs.

Recording medical histories and obtaining client signatures.

Collecting saliva samples and performing 12-lead EKGs (as applicable).

Each appointment takes approximately 15–30 minutes and offers an opportunity to make meaningful use of your clinical experience — without the stress of a full-time schedule.

What We’re Looking For

At least 2 years of phlebotomy experience and confidence taking vital signs.

Comfortable using tablets, computers, and scanners.

Friendly, professional demeanor and strong attention to detail.

EKG experience is a plus (but not required).

Preferred: Experience with pediatric or geriatric patients, or home health.

All applicants will be subject to

a background check, and drug screening.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification preferred.

Perfect for Phlebotomists, Medical Assistants, LPNs, or RNs looking to supplement their income with flexible, low-stress, part-time fieldwork.
