Founded in 1920, Akerman is recognized as one of the nation’s premier law firms, with more than 700 lawyers across the United States. Akerman is seeking an experienced Commercial Transactional Real Estate Paralegal to support the Real Estate Practice Group in its New York Office.
Key Responsibilities
Support attorneys in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and leasing.
Oversee and coordinate due diligence, title and survey review, and closing processes.
Draft, review, and manage transaction documents and closing checklists.
Liaise effectively with attorneys, clients, lenders, title companies, and other stakeholders.
Manage post-closing documentation and ensure compliance with transaction requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum of seven (7) years of commercial real estate paralegal experience, with a strong emphasis on lender-side transactions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet transaction timelines.

Job Type : Full-Time (40 hours per week); Monday - Friday (Overtime as needed)
Salary Range : $105,000 - $135,000 (Actual salary is based on experience and job qualifications.)
Bonus : Discretionary holiday bonus
