
Job Title: Escrow Assistant
Location: Santa Ana, CA
Pay Rate: $24.50 – $24.86 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time M-F 8 AM -5 PM
LOA Coverage-9+ month contract with potential to extend
Position Overview The Escrow Assistant provides administrative and customer service support to the Escrow department in a branch or office setting. This role supports residential escrow transactions by partnering with an Escrow Officer or assisting the escrow team throughout the closing process. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of escrow procedures, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Job Level Summary
Intermediate-level role requiring a working knowledge of escrow processes and functional tasks
May receive guidance from senior team members depending on task complexity
Work may be reviewed for accuracy on new or complex assignments
Provides broad administrative and operational support within the Escrow department
Follows established procedures while identifying opportunities for process improvement
Essential Functions
Perform a wide range of administrative duties to support residential escrow transactions
Open escrow orders and input closing statement information accurately
Prepare and organize escrow documents for closing
Handle disbursements and complete follow-up for escrow transactions
Communicate requirements, updates, and instructions to clients and internal teams
Interpret agreements related to escrow closings and prepare required transaction documents
Maintain accurate records in company and client operating systems
Qualifications
Minimum
2+ years of escrow-related experience
Strong customer service and problem‑solving skills
Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude
Familiarity with escrow systems and operating platforms preferred
Bachelor's Degree Preferred. Minimum Requirement - HS Diploma or Equivalent
