Summary The Digital Content & Marketing Associate will work within the Marketing Department to assist with content marketing efforts. The role involves telling Great Lakes story by developing graphics, website content, email blasts, social media content, and traditional promotional materials (brochures, flyers, etc.).
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Graphic design responsibilities include creating visual materials such as logos, social media graphics, and marketing collateral that align with the company's identity. Collaborate with team members to maintain consistent visual standards across digital and print platforms.
Work closely with outside designers for more intricate design tasks, however, have the comfort level to utilize basic page layout and design to create graphics, brochures, flyers, and manuals.
Coordinate the Marketing departments social media activities including scheduling, creative development, posting, engagement, and analytics.
Modify and create email blasts using email building tools. Make simple website content updates using website page-building tools and product information management system.
Participate in planning sales promotions, mailings, product presentations, displays, signs, literature, booth design and logistics for tradeshows and seminars/meetings.
Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education And/or Experience Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Requirement For This Job BS in Graphic Design, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or equivalent field.
2-3 years professional experience in a related field.
Knowledge and Skills Knowledge Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, or comparable platforms. Experience using macOS and iOS in a professional environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good editing and proofreading skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
