2nd Assistant Superintendent

to help lead our evening maintenance operations and support the overall success of the golf course.

The Role: As the 2nd Assistant Superintendent, you will oversee the night maintenance crew and assist with daily golf course operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining turf health, executing agronomic practices, and ensuring the course meets the resort’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead the evening/night maintenance crew

Train, mentor, and develop team members

Execute seasonal agronomic practices

Apply fertilizers and pesticides safely and accurately

Assist with irrigation system operation and maintenance

Support hiring and onboarding of new team members

Ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to quality standards

Work alongside the team as needed to meet operational goals

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in golf course maintenance preferred

Education in turfgrass management is a plus but not required

Strong leadership skills with the ability to build positive team culture

Self-starter with strong initiative and problem-solving abilities

Effective communicator with attention to detail

Positive attitude and willingness to lead by example
