For more than 35 years, University Tire & Auto Service and University Collision Center have been serving the Los Angeles community with dependable automotive repair and maintenance. We’re an independent, family-run business located near USC, with a clean, modern facility and a strong reputation built on trust and quality work. We’re looking for a Service Advisor / Customer Service Representative who can help us continue that tradition by providing an excellent customer experience and supporting our team in the shop. What You’ll Do:
Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and communicate recommended services in a clear, honest way. Write repair orders, prepare estimates, and get customer approvals. Keep customers updated throughout the repair process — phone, text, or email. Dispatch work to technicians and help manage shop flow to keep jobs on track. Coordinate parts ordering and track deliveries. Handle scheduling, payments, and daily office tasks. Be a team player — work closely with technicians, estimators, and management to deliver on-time, quality service. What We’re Looking For:
Experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service/sales role (automotive background strongly preferred). Friendly, professional communicator who can explain technical work in plain language. Strong organizational skills — able to juggle phones, walk-ins, and active repair orders without losing track. Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented. Comfortable with computers and shop management software (Tekmetric experience is a plus). Valid driver’s license with a clean record. Benefits:
