JOB SUMMARY: Provide strategic leadership for the Professional Development and Education (PD&E) function across a multi-facility healthcare market. Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate education and training programs that support clinical competency, regulatory compliance, and professional growth. Lead orientation, onboarding, continuing education, and staff development initiatives for clinical associates. Oversee required certifications and compliance training, including BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, and TB mask fit testing. Manage learning management systems and educational resources, including HealthStream and clinical education tools. Coordinate clinical internships, grant-supported programs, and training related to new products, equipment, or technologies. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field. Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience. At least 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting. Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in a clinical and/or classroom environment. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. PREFERRED: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or other advanced degree. Experience with educational program design, simulation training, or clinical curriculum development. Instructor certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS) or other specialty credentials.
